Beauty Tip - Faker's Pedi

I'm not an advocate of faking it, but I must say that I've been known to fake a pedi.  Well, CJ knows I do this because he bears witness to my secret.  I am terrible at keeping up with my polish.  I work too hard on projects to keep these tootsies looking anything resembling pristine.  My solution is peep-toe shoes.  They're as sexy as something strappy, but you only need to paint two toes on each foot!  Use a quick dry top coat and you'll be set to go in no time!  Just don't kick off your shoes. Check out Sephora for OPI polishes  for fun colors with names that will have you smirking all evening.  My favorite: Miss Bossy Pants.

Miss A - Boudoir - San Francisco

Miss A and I were connected through a former client.  Thanks Miss K!  She just got married this month and decided to do this as a special treat for her new hubby.  Lucky guy, right?  She hired Courtney from Kiss & Makeup to do the perfect sexy bride look.  She brought along a piece from the VS Sexy Little Bride line and it was gorgeous.  I already posted a sneak preview of a few of her pictures, but I wanted to keep her face concealed until after her wedding.  I didn't want to ruin the surprise.  It's been driving me crazy because she's just so friggin' gorgeous and it was such a shame to crop out her face.  But now she's officially wed and the cat is out of the bag.  Thanks Miss A for trusting me to help start your marriage off on a decidedly sexy note.  Congrats!

Beauty Tip - Zit Attack

I can't believe I'm 28 and still get pimples.  Stupid hormones.  Here are my tips to avoid and treat your pimples. 1) Stop touching your face.  ALWAYS.  Use your speaker phone and don't rest your face on your hands.

2) When you apply your various lotions and potions, use disposable application pads, sponges and Q-Tips.  Do not touch your face with your hands.

3) Use your favorite blemish treatment.  I like Nelsons Homeopathic treatment.  Then follow up with an antibiotic cream like Neosporin.

Oh, and try not to stress.  That just causes more pimples.  What a vicious cycle.
