Leslie's Favorite Things - Victoria's Secret Holiday 2011 Collection
I have to say, the pickings were slim this year, but there are a couple pieces I love. Why can't they channel the creative energy that they put into their fashion show looks and create beautiful work we can actually buy?

Miss J - Now a Mrs! - Lavish Boudoir
I have worked with J several times and her most recent session was the most special by far. After all, she was about to get married!!! In preparation, her girlfriends threw a lingerie shower for her and boy did they spoil her. J scheduled her wedding hair and makeup trial run on the morning of the shoot. Candi Ganas did an amazing job and J was bridal perfection. Out with the veil and in with the sparkly accessories. I've been waiting until after J's new hubby had a chance to check out his album before I could share them with the world. But they said their I-Dos on Saturday... so here they are. Congratulations to J & Mr. J!

Miss C - Boudoir
l
C is pretty much a bad-ass. She's sexy but has a bit of an edge. Randi and I decided to slick back her pixie cut to show off her incredible bone structure and striking eyes. She brought a couple of her favorite outfits including a ton of great accessories. We got to play with leg warmers and Madonna-esque gloves. But mostly she was just fantastic to shoot with and a truly creative woman. You're awesome, C!
Miss L

Miss L is just the teeniest little thing you've ever seen. Her skin... flawless, her body... can't possibly have had children, and her personality... amazing. Her makeup look by Randi Buchanan seemed to take ages, but it was so worth it in the end. Check out the detail of the shades in her eye makeup. Thanks L for being such a fabulous treat to shoot.
Beauty Tip - Deep Cleaning Shampoo
I love this trick I learned back in high school. Sometimes all those products just build up in your hair. Every shampoo brand has their own deep clean shampoo, and they're usually not cheap and can be damaging. Here's what I mix, 1 travel bottle of baby shampoo mixed with half a tablespoon of baking soda. It will create so much lather and strips all those nasty products and oils away. It will leave your hair a bit dry if you don't condition, so remember to do that. Try it on Sunday after a weekend of hair torture.
Note: I'm a blonde and I can't say if it's color safe if you dye your hair darker.
