Miss M
I just spoke with M about ordering a custom canvas for her wall and she mentioned that I haven't blogged her session. Oh my gosh! How could I have forgotten to blog about this GORGEOUS woman. I mean seriously, this was one of my favorite shoots. Let me tell you about why I love this woman. Judging by these pictures, you'd never guess that she plays with mud and power tools all day, right? M has a landscaping and dock company and she's not afraid to get her hands (and hair and feet) dirty. She even brought along her work boots for a funny shot. She raised her children on her own and created a business from nothing, all with her head held high. She has been a hardworking and courageous woman for many years. It was such a treat to glam her up. She rocked that Victoria's Secret strappy bra and undies like a model. The white tank and undies were my idea. I wanted to show her in a casual and sporty way with lots of smiles and laughter. She has the kind of grin that makes you want to smile along with her.
Thank you, M, for trusting me to get you all girlied up. You're beautiful with and without the glam treatment.

Miss D | Maternity Boudoir
Miss D is the kind of woman I love to have in the studio. She's a dedicated working mom who calls home her office. When you work from home, it's easy to slip into yoga pants every day, especially when you're pregnant. She loves to spoil her family, but rarely takes the time and money to indulge in herself. She even confessed after she saw her photos that immediately after she booked the session, she was terrified that she'd regret the decision. It turns out that couldn't be further from the truth. Her shoot was amazing. We dolled her up in a way that was just a slightly sexier version of her natural go-to look. Her lingerie was gorgeous, she was glowing and we created some amazing photos. Thanks, D, for letting me share your sexy mama pics.

Hair Extensions for Boudoir? Yes, please!
At Lavish Boudoir we believe in going all out for the experience. I've had clip-in and tape-in extensions and I LOVE them both. I have fine blonde, medium-long hair and it gives me ridiculously lush, never-have-a-bad-hair-day, long locks. Both have their pros and cons. Clip-ins: Best value for the short term. We can easily clip them in for your shoot, then you can use them later for a glamorous night out. They usually run around $125 for 14" remy human hair. Longer costs more. I got the ones pictured on J below on sale at Sally's for $95! Choose a color similar to yours. It doesn't have to be an exact match because they'll just look like high lights or low lights when blended. Take good care of them, and they'll last for years of sporadic use.
Semi-Permanent Tape-Ins: These are expensive ($350+), but you get to treat them like your own hair. You will have them every morning, day and night. You have to be pretty gentle with the adhesive, but you can curl, straighten and style them as you would your own natural hair. These will have to be done by a professional.
Bottom line, even if you have a lot of hair, like J, these still give you that extra oomph that screams bombshell hair. I do not recommend these for hair shorter than shoulder length unless you have a salon professional apply them. Every time we've attempted, it looks sort of like a mullet.

Miss K and Mister c
I don't think this gorgeous lady has any idea just how pretty she is. I added a little bit of video footage to her shoot. Her photos are super hot, but I cropped to keep her anonymous. I hope you love them anyway. We also invited her fiance in for a quickie shoot. I love photographing couple's boudoir and this was pretty steamy.
