Miss P - Boudoir - Los Angeles
The lovely Miss P was one of my clients in Huntington Beach. One of her good friends put together a boudoir party just before Valentine's Day as a gift for their guys and to celebrate participating in the Surf City Marathon. The organizer sent out adorable invites stocked with a pair of Hanky Panky panties. Miss P shows up and says, "I've always been the good girl! I want to be sexy!" She brought two bags full of Victoria's Secret and the attitude that she was going to put herself out there completely. The result: AMAZING! Her look was made complete by the incredibly talented Carina at Flawless Faces, Inc. If you're in So Cal, you must go by her studio for your next big event. Her studio is gorgeous and the woman knows what she's doing. Miss P's hair had the perfect sexy waves, compliments of Carrie Flintrop at Studio 37. Miss P, thanks for the shoot. I could have shot all day with you. By the way, can you believe this woman is 37!?! Yes, I threatened to card her. :-) Lessons that my future clients can take away from Miss P's session:
1) Perform! Come out of your comfort zone and you'll be amazed at the result.
2) This is once in a lifetime. Go all out. Buy/borrow the cutest lingerie and go get your makeup done. Even clip-in extensions can add an extra sultry touch
3) Trust the photographer. It's in my best interest to make you look fabulous, because then you'll love your photos, buy more and send more clients my way!
Enjoy!

Miss J - Boudoir - Los Angeles
This girl and I are about as close as two friends can be. In fact, she's my sorority lil sis and the girl who keeps me company online while I work from home. J finally trusted me enough to take her portraits. We compromised and said that I could get to shoot some boudoir style if I gave her some portraits that looked like they belonged on the cover of a country album. J is beautiful and talented and smart... but not a singer. She's that adorable girl that you root for on American Idol, but the voice doesn't quite match the marketability. So, I got her to take some gorgeous and sexy pics and she got her album cover. Thanks J, for trusting me. I hope you see the beautiful woman that everyone else sees in you.

Miss C - Boudoir
MissC45
Miss C takes the award for furthest travel to shoot with Lavish Boudoir. We first met on her wedding day, years ago. Sight unseen, she hired me to shoot her wedding in Northern Arkansas. This girl is fun! As soon as I started talking about boudoir, she got in touch and said that she was dying to do a shoot. One problem, she lives in Colorado. Fast forward to this summer and she tells me that she's traveling to Virginia for Thanksgiving and she wants to swing by Valdosta to do a shoot. If you're not familiar with the South, Virginia is still 10+ hours away. I said that I'd meet her in Savannah, GA at her hotel to shoot. She was a beautiful bride and was of course a beautiful boudoir model. This girl has gorgeous curves and amazing confidence. It's been a blessing to work with her and to honestly call her a friend. Just watch out for her butt-kicking black boots. Haha!

Loving this brand of luxury lingerie. It's a UK brand that makes the perfect cheeky lingerie for boudoir.

So excited!
I have just signed up to attend a small workshop with one of my favorite photographers, Robert Alvarado. His work with pin-up art is gorgeous and imitated by many. I lucked out that he'll be hosting a workshop in Ft. Lauderdale, so I don't have to travel all of the way to L.A. to work with him. I'm not looking to copy his style by any means, but I'm excited to learn some different lighting and post-production work. Keep checking the blog for updates on what I've learned.
