Miss D | Maternity Boudoir
Miss D is the kind of woman I love to have in the studio. She's a dedicated working mom who calls home her office. When you work from home, it's easy to slip into yoga pants every day, especially when you're pregnant. She loves to spoil her family, but rarely takes the time and money to indulge in herself. She even confessed after she saw her photos that immediately after she booked the session, she was terrified that she'd regret the decision. It turns out that couldn't be further from the truth. Her shoot was amazing. We dolled her up in a way that was just a slightly sexier version of her natural go-to look. Her lingerie was gorgeous, she was glowing and we created some amazing photos. Thanks, D, for letting me share your sexy mama pics.

Hair Extensions for Boudoir? Yes, please!
At Lavish Boudoir we believe in going all out for the experience. I've had clip-in and tape-in extensions and I LOVE them both. I have fine blonde, medium-long hair and it gives me ridiculously lush, never-have-a-bad-hair-day, long locks. Both have their pros and cons. Clip-ins: Best value for the short term. We can easily clip them in for your shoot, then you can use them later for a glamorous night out. They usually run around $125 for 14" remy human hair. Longer costs more. I got the ones pictured on J below on sale at Sally's for $95! Choose a color similar to yours. It doesn't have to be an exact match because they'll just look like high lights or low lights when blended. Take good care of them, and they'll last for years of sporadic use.
Semi-Permanent Tape-Ins: These are expensive ($350+), but you get to treat them like your own hair. You will have them every morning, day and night. You have to be pretty gentle with the adhesive, but you can curl, straighten and style them as you would your own natural hair. These will have to be done by a professional.
Bottom line, even if you have a lot of hair, like J, these still give you that extra oomph that screams bombshell hair. I do not recommend these for hair shorter than shoulder length unless you have a salon professional apply them. Every time we've attempted, it looks sort of like a mullet.

Miss K and Mister c
I don't think this gorgeous lady has any idea just how pretty she is. I added a little bit of video footage to her shoot. Her photos are super hot, but I cropped to keep her anonymous. I hope you love them anyway. We also invited her fiance in for a quickie shoot. I love photographing couple's boudoir and this was pretty steamy. Miss A - Maternity Glamour
Miss A heard about me from a past client who took her maternity pictures with me. She said she just had to have pictures taken in our flowing goddess dress. A is about 32 weeks along with her beautiful baby E. Since I'm only a couple of weeks behind her, we really had fun. A lot of absent-minded belly scratching made Adeana laugh. Hey, we can't help it. We had a great time and it was such a joy to pamper a momma-to-be. Sometimes it's hard to feel glamorous when you're creating a human, but that's what the day was all about. We photographed a variety of outfits (including a couple that are for her husband's eyes only). A, it was a wonderful day in our studio and we wish you happy and healthy pregnancy, birth and new baby. Scroll to the bottom for a video of more of her photos!

Miss L - Tallahassee, Florida
I love it when good clients recommend a friend. L and I have been trying to work out a shoot, but we could never coordinate schedules. She lived in South Florida and I never visited the area at a good time. So when she moved up north to the Tallahassee area, we got it together! I could not be happier that we did. Full disclosure: I was sooo nervous before her shoot. She had worked with other photographers before and had both good and not-so-good experiences. I wanted to make sure this was her best experience yet and that her pictures were flawless. She invested in a deluxe shoot which means 2 different makeup looks and 6 wardrobe changes. Go big or go home, right???
We started with a hollywood glamour look and draped her in our red satin sheets and our diamante necklace. Then we decked her out in the studio's Agent Provocateur classic black satin corset and set up a glittering backdrop to catch the light from our super awesome utility lights from Lowe's.

Next Adeana took her to a more contemporary glamour style with her makeup and berry tinted lips. That's when we saw it! She is a dead ringer for Scarlett Johansson. After taking a few dark and mysterious portraits, I took that idea and ran with it. I couldn't resist playing with some pink tulle, mixing it up with a black plunging teddy and then stripping her down in front of the brick wall because she told me how she just loves texture in photographs.

L, you were such a pleasure to photograph. You are so gorgeous and funny. That's a rare combination. Thank you for allowing me to share your beautiful pictures.
