Favorite Things - Every-Day Lashes
I'm obsessed with long lashes. I'm always in pursuit of the best mascara, I'm a big fan of Latisse, and false lashes are my friend. However, for every-day wear, false lashes can seem a bit garish and mascara is just never quite enough. But I have solved this! Go buy these two things:
Prep your lashes by curling and applying mascara.
Cut each lash strip in half.
Apply the glue in a thin line. This brush applicator is the best. So much better than those nasty tubes I used. Wait 30 seconds until it gets tacky.
Take a half-strip and apply it so that the longest lashes (which used to be the center) are lined up with the outer corner of your eyes.
Press the base of the lashes carefully into your lash-line.
Tada! Sexy lashes that are perfectly suitable for every-day wear.

This is my first Mother's Day as a mom... even if I'm still little more than an incubator. But it made me think about how every woman should be celebrated in some special way this day. You can be a mom in so many ways. Women are nurturers by nature... we just each choose what deserves our love and attention. Some moms love and care for four-legged creatures (and we know that they can often be as trying as the two-legged variety); some moms cuddle and kiss away the bad days for their husband or boyfriend; some moms grow a career with time, effort and dedication; some moms will fight tooth and nail so that their friends have joy in their lives. I think that being a mom is about nurturing something and watching it grow simply because you loved it. So, happy mother's day to

OMG - this lady is hot hot hot. Can you believe that she wasn't sure she wanted to shoot boudoir? After we chatted a bit, I talked her into bringing at least one set of sexy lingerie. Am I glad I did! She looked AMAZING! She's a self-described simple girl who likes Anthropologie and would rather wear a sheet than stockings, but we took her out of her comfort zone just a bit. Her beautiful makeover started with time from Adeana Dillon, who did her hair and makeup. She did a great job as usual. This woman just awed me with her poise and natural ability in front of the camera. No, she's not a model... she's a mom. She just happens to be a knock-out. We made sure to take some G-rated beauty shots that she could show her little boy. Thank you G for letting me sexy up my portfolio with your gorgeous portraits. 
What to Expect from a Lavish Beauty or Boudoir Experience
You'll be greeted warmly into my studio with a smile and I'll introduce you to my makeup artist. you'll ever meet. You'll be presented with a glass of champagne or sparkling water (your choice). I'll settle you into the studio. One is a full of light and texture. The other is a large darker area that is perfect for those dramatically lit portraits. I know just how it feels to go to one of those drab studios, be set up in a dark room with large hot lights and then told to "look natural." Ha! I've done my best to make you feel at home. We will set out all of your clothing options. While you're being fully made up, I'll decide which wardrobe selection will fit which space best. When your look is complete, I'll have you change into your first outfit. When you're fully ready, you'll look in the mirror and be amazed. With that feeling, we'll start shooting. I transition my posing seamlessly and direct you from head to toe, giving you feedback the whole way. Then we'll send you out for an evening feeling glamorous, and you'll be sure the turn heads.
